Octenol

• If you live in the northern half of the U.S., or along any

coastal areas in the U.S., use a fresh Mosquito Magnet

Octenol cartridge every time you change the propane tank.

Lurex

™

• If you live in the southern half of the U.S., the Asian Tiger

mosquito

may be the predominant species in your area.

• Lurex

is an attractant specially designed to capture hard to

catch and aggressive, day-biting species such as the Asian

Tiger mosquito.

• To find out if Lurex

is right for you, go to

• Use a fresh Lurex

cartridge every time you change the propane

tank.

Set-Up

Propane Tank Installation

1. After trap is placed in its ideal location,

place propane tank onto the molded cradle.

2. Making sure propane tank is fully closed, attach

propane regulator hose to propane tank. Secure

tightly by hand. Do not use tools.

3. Turn propane on by slowly turning valve counter-

clockwise. Take care not to turn too quickly to avoid

engagement of safety valve.

DO NOT MOVE TRAP WITH TANK ATTACHED!

TANK MUST BE DISCONNECTED FROM REGULATOR

BEFORE TRAP IS RELOCATED TO AVOID DAMAGE

TO REGULATOR AND/OR TRAP. BE ADVISED,

DAMAGE CAUSED FROM FAILURE TO COMPLY

WITH THIS INSTRUCTION IS NOT COVERED

UNDER WARRANTY.
